Bicyclist Dies in Railyards Boulevard Hit-and-Run Crash [Sacramento, CA]

Sacramento, CA (August 18, 2023) – On Thursday morning, a male bicyclist sustained fatal injuries in a Railyards Boulevard hit-and-run crash.

The Sacramento Police Department officers said that the fatal incident happened on Bercut Drive past 5:30 a.m.

Responding officers located the bicyclist lying in the roadway with serious injuries.

The male bicyclist, was declared dead at the scene by the medical team while the vehicle driver who was involved in this accident fled the scene. 

Investigating officers believe the involved vehicle is a dark-colored Acura TL with damage on the driver’s side.
