1 Dead in Livermore Bicycle Accident on Mines Road near San Antonio Valley Road
LIVERMORE, CA (February 8, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, a bicyclist died in a crash on Mines Road near San Antonio Valley Road.
The incident happened at around 2:30 p.m. on Mines Road near San Antonio Valley Road. According to reports, the bicyclist headed north while a 2010 Land Rover drove south.
They both approached a curve in the road from opposite directions. Then, the bicyclist and the SUV drove across the double yellow lines and crashed head-on.
The impact ejected the female bicyclist from her bike and succumbed to her injuries at the scene. At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed her identity.
Furthermore, the authorities continue to investigate the crash. Meanwhile, the officers do not believe that alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
