Bicyclist Hospitalized after Foulks Ranch Drive Hit-And-Run Crash
Elk Grove, CA (May 29, 2020)– On Tuesday morning, one unidentified bicyclist sustained severe injuries in a hit-and-run auto crash on Foulks Ranch Drive and Laguna Lake Way.
The crash occurred at around 7:40 a.m. on May 26. Dispatched officers arrived and located the severely injured bicyclist on the scene.
The victim was reportedly riding a bicycle in the bike lane when the victim was hit by a passing vehicle. The victim suffered severe head lacerations due to the collision and responders immediately transported the individual to a local hospital. However, the suspect involved fled the scene.
Moreover, investigators described the suspect’s car as a white 2010-2013 Honda Accord.
It will likely have damage to its windshield, passenger side body panels, and will be missing its passenger-side mirror.
It appears the suspect is “an older woman with grey hair who could barely see over the steering wheel.”
