Police Investigate Bicycle Crash on Hearn Avenue in Santa Rosa
Santa Rosa, CA (January 6, 2023) – On Friday morning, an adult male bicyclist sustained injuries in a crash with a vehicle on Hearn Avenue and the Sonoma-Marin Area Regional Transit tracks.
The crash in Santa Rosa happened around 11:07 a.m. on January 6, just west of Whitewood Drive.
Santa Rosa Police said a white Toyota Camry was traveling westbound on Hearn Avenue toward the railroad tracks when the bicyclist entered the road from a walking path.
The bicyclist sustained critical injuries and was transported to a hospital.
Meanwhile, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the officers.
Police are continuing to investigate and asked anyone who witnessed the collision to contact authorities at 707-543-8541.
