VICTORVILLE, CA (September 26, 2019) – A bicyclist was critical after a crash on Bear Valley Road on early Thursday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened near the intersection of Mariposa Road at approximately 6:05 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was struck by a maroon Acura sedan.
 
Deputies from the Victorville Police Department arrived on scene and found a male bicyclist unresponsive and requiring CPR. The male bike rider was taken to a local hospital in grave condition.
 
The involved vehicle sustained damage to the front hood and windshield closest to the driver’s side.
 
An investigation by the authorities is on-going.
