1 Person Dead in Phoenix Multi-Vehicle Accident on 51st Avenue and Bell Road

PHOENIX, AZ (December 22, 2024) – Friday afternoon, Beyonce Vasquez was killed in a fatal multi-vehicle crash on 51st Avenue and Bell Road killed one person.

The incident happened at around 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of 51st Avenue and Bell Road.

According to reports, a sedan and an SUV collided and slid into a bus for unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders rushed a young female occupant of the sedan with extremely critical injuries and a teen boy in stable condition to a hospital for treatment. Then, Phoenix Police confirmed that the teen girl, identified as 17-year-old Vasquez died at the hospital from her injuries.

Furthermore, officers do not believe that impairment played a role in the crash.

Meanwhile, the incident closed the intersection in all four directions but has long since reopened.
