Child Killed in Table Rock Lake Accident
Table Rock Lake, MO (July 28, 2024) – Bethany Roy, 31, of Carthage, was involved in a fatal boat accident on Table Rock Lake Friday morning.
It was about at a.m. when the deadly accident happened near the Clevenger Cove area.
Roy was operating a motorboat and a six-year-old boy was riding on a kneeboard behind the boat.
Suddenly, the child fell off the kneeboard.
The woman attempted to go back to the child, but the child swam toward the rear of the boat and got struck by the propeller while it was still in reverse.
Sadly, the authorities confirmed the boy died in this accident.
