Berkeley Resident Jonathan Waters Dies in Bicycle Accident on Shattuck Avenue [Oakland, CA]

Oakland, CA (June 02, 2022) – On Saturday, Jonathan Waters, 60, a Berkeley resident, died in a bicycle accident on Shattuck Avenue.

The fatal accident happened past 10:30 p.m. Friday, near the 55th Street intersection.

Immediately, the authorities responded and found Waters suffering from severe injuries. The emergency rescuers rushed him to a hospital.

Unfortunately, Waters succumbed to his injuries past 7:40 a.m. Saturday.

Moreover, the involved driver, an 18-year-old Alamo resident, remained at the accident scene and cooperated with the officers’ investigation.
