Passenger Injured in I-35 Deadly Crash
Troy, TX (May 29, 2024) – 5-year-old Bentley Swain and two others were killed in an Interstate 35 collision Monday afternoon.
Troopers said the fatal rollover crash happened at 5:45 p.m. on the I-35 service road at mile marker 312.
According to the investigators, they received reports that multiple people have been ejected from a vehicle during a crash. When they arrived at the scene, officers learned that a southbound vehicle was traveling on the service road but left the roadway and rolled off.
17-year-old Landon Kinsey was driving a vehicle with Kiersten Kinsey, 18, Bentley Swain, and another as passengers.
Landon, Kiersten, and Bentley, were from the same family. Sadly, they died from the accident.
The rescuers rushed the only survivor who is not a family member to Baylor Scott and White Hospital.
Officers are investigating this fatal collision.
