Benjamin Maisonet Hospitalized After Hit-And-Run Incident on Highway 99W

 
Willows, CA (July 6, 2020) – On Sunday, 24-year-old Benjamin Maisonet sustained severe injuries after a hit-and-run crash on Highway 99W.
 
Moreover, the accident happened at about 2:50 a.m. just south of County Road 48.
 
Authorities said Maisonet was walking northbound on the road when a vehicle hit him from behind. Then, the vehicle immediately left the scene, just before rescuers arrived.
 
Rescuers rushed Maisonet to Enloe Medical Center in Chico due to major injuries he sustained.
 
Consequently, the California Highway Patrol is still in search of the hit-and-run driver.

The victim is still in the hospital in critical condition.
