Two Cars Collide, One Crashes into Center Divider on 710 Freeway in Bell Killing One
BELL, CA (March 30, 2019) – At least one person was killed following a two-car crash Saturday evening on 710 Freeway in Bell.
The fatal crash happened around 9:22 p.m. along the southbound lanes of the freeway at Florence Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Honda Accord and a white Toyota Corolla collided, causing the Corolla to crash into the center divider. Debris from crash was strewn across freeway lanes.
Paramedics responded to the scene and found at least one fatality as a result of the accident. The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending next of kin notification.
A SigAlert was issued in the area, blocking the first and second lanes for unknown duration while officers conducted their investigation. Lanes were re-opened just before 11:00 p.m.
