Evening 2-Vehicle Crash in Highland Kills 1 and Sends 3 Others to Hospital
HIGHLAND, CA (August 27, 2019) – A woman was killed and three others were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash Tuesday evening in Highland.
The crash happened around 7:55 p.m. near the intersection of Orange Street and Greenspot Road.
Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated four people who were trapped inside their vehicles. Paramedics then rushed all the four occupants to Loma Linda University Medical Center’s trauma center.
Despite life-saving efforts, one of the patients did not survive was declared dead in the intensive care unit. The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office identified her as Belinda Ablewor Tsey, 64, of Highland.
Information on the condition of the three other patients was not immediately available.
An ongoing investigation continues to determine the ultimate cause of the crash and liability.
