Student Hospitalized after Struck by Car on Cougar Way and Beaumont Avenue
BEAUMONT, CA (February 25, 2018) – A Beaumont student was injured by a vehicle in a pedestrian collision on Cougar Way on Monday afternoon.
Authorities were alerted about the incident around 3:12 PM in the area of Cougar Way and Beaumont Avenue. The student was taken to the hospital by ambulance. His age and gender were not disclosed.
Beaumont police confirmed later that evening that there no one else was injured in the collision They are still investigating the incident but it seemed that alcohol or drugs do not seem to be involved in the crash. Officials briefly closed the westbound side of Cougar, east of Beaumont Avenue, to investigate the scene of the crash.
