Bicyclist Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Beaumont

 
BEAUMONT, CA (November 18, 2018) – A bicyclist was killed after being hit by a car Sunday night in Beaumont, CHP officials said.
 
The fatal crash happened a little after 6:00 p.m. at the intersection of San Timoteo Canyon Road and Palmer Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian on a bike was struck by an unknown vehicle. The victim, whose name and age were not immediately available, was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The driver of the involved vehicle reportedly fled the scene without rendering aid.
