TikTok Influencers Baxter and Thievin Killed in Highway 90 Collision [Houston, TX]

Houston, TX (March 14, 2024) – TikTok influencers Baxter and Thievin were killed following a Highway 90 collision Sunday night.

It was about 9:45 p.m. on March 10 when the fatal crash happened.

The accident report noted that Baxter Hosley and Garrett ‘Thievin’ MacDonagh, their real names, and both 22 years old, were traveling in a white BMW when their vehicle slammed so hard into a pole at the Fondren offramp. The vehicle then split in two.

One of the men died at the crash scene while the other was later declared deceased at the hospital.

Moreover, several witnesses said the vehicle had been traveling in and out of lanes with approximate speeds over 100 MPH.

“This crash (was) very preventable,” Sergeant David Rose from the Houston Police Department said. “They didn’t hit a wall. They didn’t hit another vehicle. They were traveling at a very high rate of speed. Had they been driving anywhere close to the speed limit, (based on) the injuries in this crash, I’m confident that with this type of vehicle, it would’ve not been fatal.”

Investigating officers said there was no evidence at the scene that alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.

Troopers are still investigating the fatal collision.
