All traffic lanes were blocked while evidence from the scene was collected and photographed.
An investigation is still ongoing to determine the ultimate cause of the crash and liability.
The first most basic preventative precaution for head-on collisions is to pay attention. Even if the other drivers on the road are drowsy, distracted or drunk, you will have more time to react. If you are fully aware of your surroundings, you will be able to see the driver swerving down the road. Maintain a safe speed and only drive when you are alert and sober.
