BARSTOW, CA – 1 Injured in Rollover Accident on 40 Freeway

Victims Suffer Major Injuries after Car Rolls in Crash on 40 Freeway in Barstow

 
BARSTOW, CA (February 18, 2019) – Monday afternoon, at least one person was seriously injured in a two-vehicle rollover accident on 40 Freeway.
 
Authorities received dispatch calls about the crash around 1:00 p.m., on the eastbound direction of the highway.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a red sedan was found upside down on the center divider when first responders arrived. Reports indicate that the vehicle flipped after colliding with another car.
 
Cal Fire responded to the scene and found at least one occupant with major injuries. The patient was then transported by Desert Ambulance to Barstow Community Hospital in an unknown condition.
 
Details surrounding the collision were not made clear in the reports. Further investigation is also underway.
