24-Year-Old Man Fatally Injured on Park Avenue and Newhall Street
SAN JOSE, CA (February 23, 2018) – A man was killed on Friday in a suspected hit-and-run pedestrian accident in the area of Park Avenue and Newhall Street.
The accident occurred at around 12:10 PM when 24-year-old Barrett Grabow of San Jose was crossing the street, and was struck by a vehicle that was driving northbound on Park Avenue. Grabow was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead on Monday.
Authorities on Saturday located and impounded the involved vehicle. Reportedly, the driver of the car did not stop at the scene after the accident. The suspect, identified as 56-year-old Troy Moulton of San Jose. Moulton turned himself into the police and is facing multiple charges including driving without a valid license and vehicular manslaughter.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
