Woman Dies in Big Bear Accident
Big Bear, CA (March 4, 2023) – On Sunday, Barbie Hughes died after she was run over by a vehicle near Polique Canyon.
The fatal accident took place on Saturday as she was reportedly trying to help someone who was stuck in the snow.
She was immediately transported to a hospital where she died the following day. The paramedics could not airlift her due to the severe weather condition.
In the meantime, officers are investigating the Big Bear accident.
Her family created a GoFundMe page to help with the funeral expenses.
