Injuries Reported in Turlock Auto Accident on Santa Fe Avenue and East Avenue

 
TURLOCK, CA (December 29, 2021) – Monday afternoon, a 75-year-old Bao Huang suffered major injuries in a two-vehicle crash on Santa Fe Avenue.
 
The incident occurred at around 1:00 p.m. on Santa Fe Avenue and East Avenue. Moreover, it occurred about two miles east of Turlock.
 
As a result of the crash, a small traffic backup occurred.

CHP Officer Ming Hsu revealed that the 2015 Lexus SUV was not familiar with the intersection. Thus, the driver failed to stop at a stop sign.
 
Then, the SUV broadsided the front end of a 2015 Toyota Prius that had pulled over. Then, the Lexus driver tried to avoid striking the Prius by veering. However, the driver overturned her SUV. The impact knocked down a power pole.
 
According to reports, the Lexus headed east on East Avenue as it entered the intersection. Meanwhile, the northbound Prius on Santa Fe Avenue stopped at the intersection.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities identified the Lexus driver as 51-year-old Castro Valley resident Yan Huang. Two passengers rode with Yan Huang. Meanwhile, his 75-year-old passenger, Bao Huang, sustained major injuries and a helicopter took him to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
 
Meanwhile, 55-year-old Joanne Inamiasai drove the Prius with three passengers. Reports confirmed that both drivers and all five passengers wore seatbelts.
 
Moreover, another passenger complained of pain.
 
Also, the authorities cited no one at the scene.
 
Hsu said the CHP’s typical practice is to wait until the investigation of traffic accidents like Monday’s are completed before deciding whether to cite anyone.
