One Died in a Two-Vehicle Collision in a Parking Lot along Highland Springs Avenue
BANNING, CA (April 5, 2018) – One person was fatally injured in a two-vehicle crash along Highland Springs Avenue, early Thursday evening.
According to Riverside County Fire Department officials, the collision occurred around 5:16 PM. CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire responded to the scene of the accident at a parking lot on the 300 block of Highland Springs Avenue, to find a damaged minivan and semi-truck.
The driver of the minivan was fatally injured and was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s name was withheld pending notification of next of kin. No one else was injured or killed in the crash. There is no information on the events leading up to the crash.
Banning Police Department is investigating the incident to determine the exact cause of the collision.
