Avenue M Big Rig Collision Injures SUV Driver [Palmdale, CA]

(July 15, 2022) On Thursday evening, an SUV driver suffered serious injuries in after a collision with a big rig on Avenue M.

The California Highway Patrol says that the head-on crash happened near 50th Street East at around 11:49 p.m.

Reports say that a Yukon Denali collided with a semi-truck, causing injuries to the SUV driver and spilling fluids.

Los Angeles County Hazmat unit was on the scene to assist with the clean-up.

Paramedics transported the SUV driver to Antelope Valley Hospital, while the semi-truck driver did not suffer injuries.

The CHP is investigating the incident and has not released further information about the crash.
