San Angelo, TX (November 27, 2024) On Thursday morning, a 48-year-old man was hurt after a brutal auto-pedestrian Crash on Knickerbocker Road.

According to the San Angelo Police Department (SAPD), the horrific crash happened 4:49 a.m. on the 2100 block of S. Bryant Boulevard.

Reports say that the 48-year-old pedestrian suffered critical injuries after a vehicle struck him.

Emergency responders found the man in serious condition. Medics from the San Angelo Fire Department transported him to Shannon Medical Center, and he was later flown out of town for advanced medical care.

San Angelo Police revealed that the driver struck the man while turning from Knickerbocker Road onto northbound Bryant Blvd. The pedestrian had been walking in the middle of the far outside lane, moving with the flow of traffic, when the collision occurred. As of now, the man remains in critical condition.
