Houston, TX (August 26, 2023) On Friday morning, a 38-year-old woman was fatally struck in an auto-pedestrian crash on Interstate 610.

According to the Houston Police Department, the traffic accident happened at about 1:40 a.m. on the 4900 block of the I-610 North Loop East.

Reports say that a 49-year-old driver, on an eastbound Honda CRV, fatally struck the female pedestrian in the far right lanes of the freeway.
