Pedestrian Killed in Traffic Accident near Clairemont Mesa Boulevard
San Diego, CA (December 12, 2023) On Monday morning, a pedestrian lost his life after an auto-pedestrian crash on I-805.
According to the CHP, the fatal traffic accident happened around 4:35 a.m. south of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard.
Reports say that a male pedestrian was struck by a Mazda SUV, driven by a 36-year-old woman, then was struck by a Lexus sedan, driven by a 50-year-old man, afterward.
Officials say the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, while both drivers stayed at the scene and was cooperating with officials.
Authorities are investigating the deadly traffic accident and have not released further information at this time.
