Violent Auto-Pedestrian Crash on El Camino Real Kills 37-Year-Old Man [Encinitas, CA]

Encinitas, CA (November 10, 2023) On Wednesday evening, a 37-year-old man lost his life after an auto-pedestrian crash on El Camino Real.

According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the fatal pedestrian accident happened at about 8:30 p.m. on the 200 block of North El Camino Real.

Reports say that a car struck the male pedestrian, the crash injured the man. Medics rushed the man to a hospital after giving medical aid to the patient. Unfortunately, the man succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead at the hospital.

Authorities say that the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

Officials are investigating the fatal accident and have not released additional information at this time.
