(September 30, 2023) On Friday evening, a teenage woman was seriously hurt after an auto-pedestrian accident on 9th Street.

According to CalFire BDU, the pedestrian crash happened at about 9:45 p.m. at the intersection with Victoria Avenue.

Reports say that the teen was struck by a blue Toyota sedan in front of her home as she was being dropped off by a friend.

Officials say that the driver of the sedan stayed at the scene and did not show signs of impairment.

Medics rushed the teenager to the hospital and her current condition is not yet known.

Authorities are investigating the pedestrian crash.
