Aurea Lilia Gomez-Gamaro Dies in Two-Vehicle Crash on 55th Avenue in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (November 22, 2021) – Monday afternoon, a 57-year-old  Aurea Lilia Gomez-Gamaro died in a two-vehicle crash on 55th avenue.

The fatal crash in Phoenix happened on November 22.

Phoenix Police said Gamaro was driving south on 55th Avenue when her Nissan Versa was struck by a Ford pickup truck that was traveling west on Thomas Road. 

EMS took her to the hospital with serious injuries and later died.

Moreover, the impact of the crash caused the pickup truck to hit two other vehicles. No one in those vehicles sustained injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck remained uninjured and did not show signs of impairment.

Further investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing.
