Two Teens Hospitalized After Crash on Road 8-NE in Moses Lake

Moses Lake, WA (September 18, 2024) – On Tuesday night, two 12-year-old girls sustained serious injuries in a crash on Road 8-NE.

Reportedly, a car struck two 12-year-old girls riding an ATV on Tuesday night in a rural area east of Moses Lake. 

A 20-year-old man from Moses Lake, driving a Jaguar, rear-ended the girls around 7:40 p.m. on Road 8-NE near Road N-NE, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

The collision ejected the girls from the ATV, causing serious injuries. Authorities reported that both were taken to local hospitals and were expected to be transferred for higher-level care.

Although the Jaguar driver was unharmed in the crash, the girls’ family assaulted and injured him afterward. 

Deputies confirmed that no arrests were made, and the driver received treatment and was released.
