ATV Rider Dead After Crash on Highway 138 in Phelan

Phelan, CA (June 7, 2024) – On Friday, an ATV rider died in a crash on Highway 138 involving an SUV. 

California Highway Patrol logs first reported the crash just before noon along the highway at Rancho Del La Garto. 

The rider of a quad motorcycle was rushed to a hospital by ambulance with severe head injuries, but ultimately died, according to the logs. 

As of Friday evening, no other details regarding the circumstances of the collision were available, as the investigation remained in its early stages.
