Traffic Backed Up after Santa Maria Semi-Truck Collision
SANTA MARIA, CA (December 10, 2018) – At least one person was injured following a semi-truck crash on Thursday, December 6.
The crash occurred at about 6:15 a.m. along northbound Highway 101 near the Broadway off-ramp.
The California Highway Patrol said that a total of four vehicles were involved in the incident. It started when two vehicles were involved in a rear-end crash. The truck then reportedly struck one of those vehicles and another car before it crashed into the center divider.
At least one person was transported to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
The highway was shut down at Donovan Road and all lanes reopened at about 5:40 p.m.
