Bakersfield Traffic Collision on Highway 58 Causes Major Injuries

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (October 1, 2019) – At least one person suffered injuries in a traffic collision on Highway 58, Tuesday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 6:15 PM. Due to unknown reasons, vehicles collided near Oswell Street, involving a semi-truck and a van.
 
Emergency responders rushed a victim to a hospital with major injuries. Updates on the person’s current condition remain unknown. Meanwhile, it is unknown whether or not other injuries were sustained in the crash.
 
The CHP continues to investigate the cause of the crash. Authorities encourage witnesses to cooperate as soon as possible. Investigators will release additional information once it becomes available.
