1 Dead in Callahan County Auto Accident on Interstate 20 near Abilene
CALLAHAN COUNTY, TX (March 11, 2024) – Sunday morning, Aspen Blessing died in a horrific 2-vehicle crash on Interstate 20 near Abilene.
The incident involving two vehicles happened at 4:09 a.m. on Interstate 20 four miles east of Abilene.
Reports revealed that a Dodge Ram was driving east in the westbound lanes of Interstate 20. Then, a westbound Ford on I-20 was hit by the Dodge head-on in the westbound lane.
As a result, the driver of the Ford, 18-year-old Blessing of Baird, was declared dead on the scene.
Then, responders took the driver of the Dodge to a nearby hospital for serious incapacitating injuries.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continued to investigate the crash.
