1 Dead in Sacramento Bicycle Accident on Power Inn Road and Blackhawk Drive
SACRAMENTO, CA (July 4, 2021) – Saturday afternoon, an Asian man died in a hit-and-run crash on Power Inn Road and Blackhawk Drive.
At this time, the authorities continue to look for the vehicle involved in the deadly hit-and-run crash. It happened south of the intersection of Florin and Power Inn roads.
According to the authorities, the vehicle was a 2012 or newer dark green Toyota Sequoia with a Hispanic female driver.
The investigators said that a vehicle hit a 76-year-old Asian man on a bicycle on Power Inn at Blackhawk Drive in the Florin area.
As the driver turned right from Blackhawk onto Power Inn Road, she hit the bicyclist. The driver reportedly stopped, then fled, running over the rider before driving along southbound Power Inn Road.
The male bicyclist succumbed to his injuries at the scene. His identity remains undisclosed.
