Ashton Wilfong DUI, Jennifer Lundgren Killed in Madera County Accident
Madera County, CA (January 02, 2021) – On Friday, police arrested 28-year-old Ashton Wilfong of Friant in a fatal DUI crash on private property east of Road 206 and south of Road 145.
The CHP reported while coming down a hill just west of Friant, Wilfong, driving a Dodge Ram truck made an “unsafe movement”.
As a result, his vehicle flipped and landed on its roof.
The vehicle has five occupants at the time of the accident. An unidentified 41-year-old female was partially tossed from the vehicle, and died on the scene.
Meanwhile, the rescuers took a 17-year-old female to a hospital after suffering major injuries.
The authorities booked Wilfong into Madera County Jail on charges of driving while intoxicated and gross vehicular manslaughter.
Later reports identified Jennifer Dawn Lundgren, 41, as the passenger killed in the accident.
