Michael Dunn Injured in Fatal Traffic Collision on US Highway 82
Lubbock, TX (October 3, 2023) On Saturday afternoon, 32-year-old Christian Trattles, 27-year-old Ashley Peppers and a 3-year-old Thomas Cole Peppers, all from Lubbock, died in a tragic crash on US 82.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal traffic collision happened on the eastbound lane of US Highway 82.
Reports say that Trattles and Ashley and her son, Thomas Cole, were on a westbound car that collided with an eastbound truck towing a trailer, driven by Michael Dunn.
Officials say that the car drove onto the shoulder of the roadway and the passenger side tire of the car traveled onto the grass area, Trattles steered to the left and sent the car onto the opposite lane of the highway.
Authorities say that Trattles car collided with the truck. All passengers of the car suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, Dunn suffered moderate injuries and was taken to UMC in Lubbock.
Moreover, the family of Ashley Peppers and Thomas Cole Peppers started a GoFundme to help with the expenses.
Authorities are investigating the fatal traffic collision.
