Ashley Jachelski Dies in Head-On Collision on North Sanderson Avenue [San Jacinto, CA]

San Jacinto, CA (February 23, 2022) – On Saturday, 33-year-old Ashley Jachelski of San Jacinto died in a head-on collision on North Sanderson Avenue.

Officers responded to the crash scene before 3 a.m. north of West Ramona Expressway.

When they arrived, officers found two SUVs with heavy front-end damage and the paramedics provided first aid to Jachelski and another victim.

However, Jachelski succumbed to her injuries at the scene at 3:09 a.m.

The emergency rescuers took the other victim to a local hospital with non-fatal injuries.

Moreover, officers say that it looks like one vehicle crossed over the other lane. The authorities are investigating if alcohol or drugs were a factor in this collision.
