25-Year-Old Ashley Alvarez Killed in U-Haul Accident on Remount Drive [San Antonio, TX]

San Antonio, TX (September 2, 2024) – 25-year-old Ashley Alvarez was killed in a u-haul accident on Remount Drive Saturday night.

It was about 8 p.m. when the fatal accident happened near Fratt Road.

Investigators said the victim was loading furniture into a U-Haul truck when its driver reversed rapidly and struck the Alvarez. 

Alvarez sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a hospital where she later died.

Officers are investigating the incident as an accident and stated that no charges have been filed as of yet.
