Injuries Reported in Ray County Auto Accident on Route O and Pendleton Road
RAY COUNTY, MO (October 30, 2024) – Monday afternoon, Ashlee Carrasco sustained injuries in a startling single-vehicle crash on Route O and Pendleton Road.
The incident happened just before 2:30 on Route O, just south of Pendleton Road.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a pickup truck driven by 29-year-old Carrasco from Liberty veered off the road and hit a pile of brush. Both Carrasco and her passenger, an 11-year-old girl from Excelsior Springs, sustained moderate injuries. The child received treatment at Children’s Mercy Hospital.
Authorities noted that neither Carrasco nor the girl were wearing seat belts during the incident.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
