Morning Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 185 in Ashland
ASHLAND, CA (December 15, 2018) – Injuries were reported following a hit-and-run crash Saturday morning in Ashland, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 11:10 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 185 and East Lewelling Boulevard, just in front of Jack in the Box.
When officers arrived, they located a silver Kia Soul with moderate rear-end damage and a white Dodge Magnum with moderate front-end damage. A third vehicle was reportedly involved but had fled the scene.
Injuries were sustained in the accident and an ambulance unit was dispatched to give aid. The exact number of patients was not immediately known.
At this time, California Highway Patrol officials are in the process of investigating the incident and on the lookout for the hit-and-run driver.
