29-Year-Old Man Dies in LA Hit-and-Run Crash
Pacoima, CA (February 25, 2024) – The authorities have arrested 70-year-old Arturo Sepulveda Carrera following a fatal crash on Van Nuys Boulevard Saturday night.
It was about 10 p.m. on February 24 when the deadly hit-and-run collision unfolded near Remick Avenue.
Investigators said Carrera was driving an eastbound silver Nissan Cube when it struck a 29-year-old man who was walking in the eastbound lanes of the same road.
The responding medical team rushed the victim to a hospital where he was declared dead.
The Nissan did not stop but drove eastbound.
Moreover, the authorities arrested Sepulveda Carrera on suspicion of felony hit-and-run and booked him at 5:26 a.m. Sunday at the Van Nuys Jail. He is being held with $50,000 bail.
