1 Dead in Pico Rivera Pedestrian Crash on Washington Boulevard
PICO RIVERA, CA (June 16, 2020) – Sunday night, Arturo Garcia, 49, died in a hit-and-run accident on Washington Boulevard.
The deputies responded to the crash scene at around 9:45 p.m. in the 8500 block of Washington Boulevard.
Upon their arrival, they saw an injured man down on the road, sheriff’s Lt. Michael Verlich of the Pico Rivera Station said.
Verlich confirmed that the male pedestrian, now identified as Arturo Garcia, succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
Meanwhile, there was no description provided for the hit-and-run car. Verlich revealed that the detectives will continue to review the security images from the crash scene.
