1 Dead in San Bernardino Boat Accident at Colorado River near Buckskin Mountain State Park
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (May 31, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, authorities arrested Arthur Garcia after a deadly boat crash at Colorado River.
The incident happened just after 5:00 p.m. at the Colorado River near Buckskin Mountain State Park. According to reports, a 7-year-old had been swimming in the river. Then, a boat hit her. Thus, responders took the victim to a nearby hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Meanwhile, the sheriffs determined that 37-year-old Arthur Garcia of Indio had been “operating the vessel in a reckless and negligent manner.” Also, Garcia was drunk during the incident. Thus, the authorities arrested him.
Moreover, the San Bernardino County Sheriffs continued to investigate the crash.
