Fresno, CA (October 18, 2023) On Saturday evening, 56-year-old Arthur Augustine perished after a tragic pedestrian crash on Belmont Avenue near Calaveras Street.

According to the Fresno Police Department, the fatal auto-pedestrian collision happened around 7:20 p.m. as Augustine was crossing Belmont Avenue.

Reports say that a Toyota truck hit the 56-year-old pedestrian. Medics rushed the injured man to a hospital, however, officials say that Augustine was declared dead at the hospital.
