Arnold Perez of Coachella Dies in Iris Avenue Vehicle Crash [Moreno Valley, CA]

Moreno Valley, CA (December 10, 2022) – On Thursday, Arnold Perez, 19, of Coachella, lost his life in an Iris Avenue vehicle crash.

The fatal vehicle collision took place at about 8:15 p.m. in the area of Kitching Street.

According to the investigators, Arnold Perez was driving a Toyota Sequoia through the intersection when it crashed into a a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.

Riverside County Fire Department firefighters responded to the crash scene and declared Arnold Perez dead. His unidentified passenger sustained serious injuries and was rushed to nearby Riverside University Medical Center.

Moreover, the two occupants of the Silverado sustained non-fatal injuries and were transported to the same facility for treatment.

The authorities are still investigating who of the two drivers caused the collision and if alcohol or drugs played a role.
