1 Person Hurt in San Mateo Pedestrian Accident on 42nd Avenue and Edison Street
SAN MATEO, CA (November 12, 2023) – Friday morning, authorities arrested Armen Grigorian after a disastrous hit-and-run crash on 42nd Avenue and Edison Street.
The incident happened at around 8:31 a.m. at the intersection of 42nd Avenue and Edison Street.
According to the San Mateo, the San Mateo Police Department, a white Toyota Tacoma struck a pedestrian with a dog, and then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.
Moreover, responders transported the pedestrian to a hospital with unknown injuries. Then, officers confirmed that the dog, identified as Lola, died in the incident.
Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the hit-and-run driver, a 31-year-old San Mateo man, on two charges: hit-and-run resulting in injury and hit-and-run resulting in property damage.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the San Mateo Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
