Carjacking Suspect Dies in Los Angeles Crash on Normandie Avenue

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 24, 2020) – Late Sunday night, Armani Brown died after an accident on Normandie Avenue in Los Angeles.
 
According to the LAPD, the suspects took the vehicle at gunpoint at 11:10 p.m. on Congress Avenue and 20th Street.
 
After broadcasting the description of the stolen car, a patrol car found the vehicle 20 minutes later. They found it on Western Avenue and Vernon Avenu. Afterward, the police chase started.
 
The car headed south on Normandie Avenue. However, it crashed with a car turning left on 60th Street. Both vehicles then collided with a parked car.
 
Due to the impact, the female passenger of the carjacked vehicle died at the scene. Meanwhile, responders transported the male driver to a hospital in critical condition.

Moreover, on Tuesday, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office identified the deceased as 18-year-old Armani Brown. However, they haven’t disclosed the identity of the injured driver.
 
Furthermore, two male occupants in the vehicle hit by the carjacked car were also transported with stable vital signs.
