25-Year-Old Arizona Woman Dies after Rollover Crash on Dry Creek Road
NAPA COUNTY, CA (September 16, 2019) – An Arizona woman lost her life in a rollover crash on Dry Creek Road, Monday morning. Authorities withheld the identity of the 25-year-old victim, pending notification of next of kin.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at about 6:02 AM. A white 2003 Chevrolet Suburban was traveling at an unsafe speed and lost control. Then, the vehicle went down a hillside and rolled over near Wall Road.
The Arizona woman, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected through a blown-out window. She suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
Emergency responders rushed three other passengers, identified as 46-year-old Aramiz Rojo, 45-year-old Gernando Gonzalez, and 29-year-old Ricardo Vargas Arieta, to Queen of the Valley Hospital with minor injuries. Meanwhile, the driver, identified as 40-year-old Lauro Felix‑Quintana, did not sustain injuries.
Investigators ruled out alcohol and drugs as factors in the fatal crash. Authorities will release additional information once it becomes available.
