2 Passengers Dead in Ridgefield Car Crash
RIDGEFIELD, WA (February 4, 2020) – Two passengers died in a rollover crash on 11th Street in Ridgefield on February 2.
The incident happened just after 2:20 a.m. According to WSP, a 2011 Ford Fusion traveled east on South 11th Street. As the vehicle drove closer to the intersection on South Timm Road, the driver yielded for a stop sign.
The vehicle then went down an embankment, overturned and landed on its top in the lanes of 5 Freeway.
Authorities suspected that drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
Two passengers in the car, 31-year-old Aristeo Alejopablo and 43-year-old Margarito Alejopablo, were pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, responders took 23-year-old Josue B. Gonzalez to the hospital in unknown condition.
Moreover, the driver, 25-year-old Luis A. Perezsalinas, also went to the hospital. Perezsalinas received charges of vehicular homicide and felony hit-and-run.
