Ariel Renee Garcia Dies in Collision on Interstate 20

Ector County Deadly Crash Results in Injuries

Ector County, TX (November 22, 2024) – Ariel Renee Garcia, 31, of Odessa, was killed in a vehicle collision on Interstate 20 Thursday morning.

The fatal traffic crash happened at the intersection of I-20 North Service Road and Redondo Avenue.

According to the authorities, a 2013 Kia OLX driven by Ariel Renee Garcia was eastbound and a GMC Sierra driven by Roger Dale Bilbrey, 62, of Odessa, was traveling west on the north service road.

Officers said Bilbrey crossed the center stripe and hit Garcia head-on.

Responding authorities declared Garcia deceased at the scene.

Bilbrey, on the other hand, was rushed to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa in serious condition.

This fatal collision is under investigation.
